Monarch Enclosure with a Frass Vacuum

The enclosures are designed to stand or to lay down in both directions. When plants grow tall faster especially in a warmer climate, it is convenient to use it in a portrait orientation. If you have many short plants, it works well in a landscape orientation.

We recommend cutting plants down after the season ends, and letting them to have new growth back each year.  It helps to minimize the chances of having butterflies that are sickly. 

They come in perfect blue and pink colors that are not too dark or too light. Those colors make it easier for you to find and clean up the never-ending frass (caterpillar poop) while light colors tend to stain.

The package includes a starter vacuum for the frass (the color will be random). The suction is designed to be not too strong so no caterpillars will be harmed during the cleaning. It is portable, and you can recharge it with the USB cable. 

There are several feeding plant tube designs that you can fit inside your enclosures. We are working on designing one that is natural, and won't harm anything.  If you already have one that you are comfortable with, please use it.  If you do not have a feeding tube sort of things, you can absolutely lay leaves on the floor in our enclosure and they won't have any problem eating from the floor.
